The premium residential market in Bengaluru mostly sells finish: imported stone, larger glazing, deeper wardrobes. Those are easy to buy and easy to match. What is difficult, and what genuinely raises the standard of daily life, is a house that is cool in April, quiet at night, filled with even north light, and open to a garden you actually use.

We build to a high level of craft — but the luxury we are chasing is spatial. Nature, light, air, and the sense that you belong in the room.

Every commission begins with a long conversation about how you actually live: who cooks, who works from home, how many people arrive at Diwali, whether you want to be visible to the street. We then read the site — sun, wind, trees, water, neighbours — and test three or four genuinely different plan strategies before choosing one.

From there it is drawings, physical and digital models, material samples you can hold, and a fixed set of decisions before construction begins. On site we stay involved through handover, because the last ten percent is what separates a good house from a fine one.

We take on new-build residences on independent plots across Bengaluru, weekend and farm houses on the city's outskirts, full renovations of older houses, and interior commissions for apartments where the architecture is fixed but the experience is not. Scale varies from compact 30x40 sites to multi-acre estates; the level of attention does not.

Wright Inspires was founded in 2002 by Ar. Prathima Seethur. The studio has completed more than 400 homes and commercial spaces, been featured seven times by ArchDaily, and been recognised at the Indian Architecture & Design Awards, UltraTech Design Awards and the Indian Concrete Institute awards. Most new work still arrives through clients who lived in an earlier house of ours.
